RC Lens found the way to victory, who fled from the third day, beating, certainly painfully Châteauroux, now last after the defeat, 1-0 Monday at the stadium Bollaert closing the 7th day of Ligue 2.

Thanks to this success, the Sang et Or have gained two places compared to their classification at the evening of the previous day: they are now tenths with 11 points, to a length of a place of barrage.

But it was difficult! Philippe Montanier's men struggled to find the fault in the first period when each team could have opened the scoring.

The first frank opportunity was Lensoise, in the 15th minute when Sotoca spun to the goal castelroussin but saw his shot cross law right hijacked by Pillot, out to meet him.

Two minutes later, Chateauroux responded by Sangante, alone in the area, whose shot was diverted by Leca.

Aside from these two occasions, the Lens public did not have many opportunities to be enthusiastic in this first act, and some whistles came down the stands shortly before the break.

In the second half, the Lensois were a little more pressing and finally opened the scoring in the 55th minute, on a penalty kick for a hand Condé and transformed by Mauricio, who becomes the top scorer of the club with 3 goals.

RC Lens have kept this victory, narrow but precious, against a team that has posed problems, even reduced to ten after the exclusion of Gonçalves (63) for a second yellow card. Châteauroux even framed shots more often than Lens.

This 7th day saw Lorient take again the command: the "Merlus", stopped during the preceding day in Moustoir by Guingamp, left again by going to impose with the way Saturday in Clermont (2-0), and took advantage of the draws conceded by Le Havre, previous leader now 2nd, and Valenciennes who remains 3rd.
