The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi has updated the lists of medicines and adulterated products that are banned for use and circulation to reach 1,774 health and herbal products used for slimming purposes, sexual stimulants, bodybuilding and body building supplements and cosmetics, after it was found that these products are adulterated and not suitable for use.
The department classified the fake products according to five categories, which included 157 bodybuilding products, 113 beauty products, 880 sex products, 444 products for weight loss, in addition to various fake products, and published on its official website to warn against its use.
The department called on citizens and residents not to hesitate to talk with health care providers before starting to use any of the pharmaceutical products, to discuss the potential benefits and risks, especially if the person has any health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, liver and kidney disease, heart disease.
She pointed out that having a product that achieves magical results quickly, effectively and safely is a dream that everyone wishes, but the availability of all these characteristics in one product is a lie does not exist, so lists of medicines and fake medical products provide regular updates on supplements and cosmetics, and weight loss products, And other adulterated products from various domestic and international sources.
