In recent weeks, the Sölvesborg Samstyret (SD + M + KD + SoL party) has made several decisions that have aroused strong feelings in many people. Among other things, that the municipality will not buy "challenging contemporary art", and that Pride flags will no longer be hoisted at the town hall.

As an entry in the debate, someone has now placed a work of art in the municipality. The installation was photographed by Sölvesborgsbon Carina Andersson.

- I have no idea what the artist wants to say with the installation, but I interpreted it as a protest against the co-operative's policy, says Carina Andersson, who took the picture and posted it on social media.

The "Artwork" in question represents a doll in national costume holding two Pride flags. The abdomen is submerged, which may hint at SD-peak Rolf Hans Berg's statement about "human art" last week.

Who is behind the installation is unclear.

The Christian Democrats in Sölvesborg have criticized the increase in a Facebook post. They write there:

”Today, Sölvesborgarna wakes up to this kind of“ art ”that has been placed in a public place, an“ art ”that we in KD do not support! This kind of "art" is something we want to protect our children from! "

SVT News Blekinge has sought the Christian Democrats in Sölvesborg for a comment, but the district chairman in Blekinge says that recent events linked to the board in Sölvesborg will probably be lifted internally.

- I have not delved into these issues and received no reactions. Each municipal association is a sovereign own organization. I devote myself to trying to keep the party together administratively. But we will have a meeting on Thursday, when the question will come up, says Thommy Svensson, district chair of KD Blekinge.
