The latest video of the contractor and the Egyptian artist Mohamed Ali caused an alert and emergency within the Egyptian Interior Ministry after he called for practical steps to end the rule of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

A security source at the Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed to Al Jazeera Net that Interior Minister Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq issued instructions to increase the state of emergency within the ministry, prevent officers' leave, and even summon those who received rest to return to work immediately.

Mohamed Ali, who has worked as a contractor with the Egyptian army over the past years, stepped up his campaign and published last night a video message saying that "the time of talk is over" and that he will start a revolution against Sisi, calling on the Egyptian people to support him, and launched a tag called "# Kifaya_bakia_sisi" The number of participants reached more than half a million by Monday afternoon.

Mohamed Ali stressed that the army, police and people will not accept this injustice, calling at the same time to peaceful demonstrations for one hour only on Friday, if Sisi did not respond to the call to leave via communication sites.

The source, who declined to be named, pointed out that a high-level security meeting of the internal leadership with the political leadership is expected to be held on Monday evening, to determine the way to deal with the possible demonstrations and how to wipe out the protests called by Mohammed Ali.

The meeting is likely to take a decision, according to the source, to disconnect the Internet service from Egypt on Thursday or Friday, as happened on Friday 28 January 2011, which led to the ouster of Hosni Mubarak.

This comes as sources talked about the blocking of the Internet antenna service "Wi-Fi" at Cairo International Airport and cut off those inside the passenger lounges.

Cell work
The source added, "There is a working cell working a week after the publication of the first videos of Mohammed Ali, and arrested a number of young people affiliated with the revolution and political forces."

He continued, "The Department of Systems and Information in the ministry to collect the names of public figures who have posted videos on social networking sites, in addition to the owners of major pages, and taking the necessary actions against them, whether by arresting some or warning others."

This comes at a time when activists on social media said that security forces arrested today the leftist activist Kamal Khalil.

The officers were also instructed to talk to their relatives and surrounding circles, intimidate them from an unknown fate and invade anti-Egypt forces once Sisi departs, and that their fate is a "refugee tent on the borders of a country, because there is no alternative to the leadership of Egypt."
