Three men of Paraguayan nationality, between 26 and 34 years old, have been arrested in Marbella by agents of the National Police for allegedly disfiguring the face of a young man in an assault on public roads.
The alleged architects of the events would have confused the victim , according to the inquiries, with a member of a group of young people with whom they starred in a previous rifirrafe .
As a result of the multiple fractures suffered in the face, the injured person has undergone a complex reconstruction of the jaw, palate, cheekbones and nose in a hospital and is awaiting a second operation.
The initial complaint was made by a woman at the police station in Marbella, which she attended on behalf of her son, who could not appear due to the serious injuries he suffered, to report the aggression suffered by him at the hands of a group of young people .
The events took place on June 29 on the Avenida de la Constitución, in the Marbellí population center of San Pedro Alcántara, as reported by the National Police in a statement.
About 04:30 hours, the victim, who was with a co-worker, was attacked on the street by three men who, without a word, threw him on the ground and kicked him several times in the head. A fourth person, accompanying the aggressors, threatened the couple with a knife, although he was not directly involved in the aggression.
The attackers would have confused the victim with a member of a group of young people with whom they previously had a dispute in a place close to the one of the aggression object of denunciation.
After an arduous investigation, the agents managed to identify and locate the alleged perpetrators. Three of those investigated were arrested for their alleged responsibility for a crime of injury ; the fourth of them was arrested for his alleged involvement in a crime of serious threats .
In addition, the investigators verified how two of the four detainees were in an irregular situation in Spain, so they were also informed of their rights for violation of the immigration law.
