Members of Parliament and Senators on the march and the MoDem will be gathered Monday by the Minister of Relations with Parliament, Marc Fesneau, in the presence of Edward Philippe, for a point on the return to which Emmanuel Macron should also participate.

Parliamentarians are invited from 18:30 rue de Grenelle for a reception in the gardens of the Rothelin-Charolais hotel around the Prime Minister, it was said in the entourage of Mr. Fesneau.

Several parliamentary and government sources have reported a visit by Emmanuel Macron. The Elysee, contacted Sunday by the AFP, did not wish to confirm or deny. According to a government source, about thirty government members should be present.

"The president will go tomorrow night for the parliamentary declension of the government seminary back to school," said a source in the executive.

"It will be a small registration on the methodology of act 2: that is to say more Prime Minister, the ministers in the front line and the president behind to insist on what is important, to impulse", added this same source, stating that the head of state would insist "on the priorities of the back to school" such as pensions, the next debate on immigration to the Assembly or even ecology.

The head of state has in the past invited by surprise to this type of meeting, in July 2017 and 2018 in particular. He had also gathered the parliamentarians at the Elysee last December but had shortened his presence because of the attack on the Christmas market in Strasbourg.

During a comeback marked by the return of the business that has troubled the beginning of the five-year period, touching the pillars of the majority François Bayrou and Richard Ferrand, the parliamentarians will begin the study of the 2020 budget and the resolution of a difficult equation including tax cuts and a more delicate macroeconomic context than expected.

Exchanges with the executive must also address the thorny issue of pension reform, when a draft law is to be drafted and voted on by July 2020 after a series of consultations with social partners and social partners. French.

After the RATP last Friday, several days of mobilization are on the agenda in the coming days, including the one initiated by lawyers on Monday.

Three bills are also on the menu and should be mentioned: the revision of bioethical laws, including the PMA for all, which has just been adopted in committee in the Assembly; "commitment and proximity" that reinforces the protection of mayors; and the anti-waste bill.

In addition, a debate on immigration, without a vote, is scheduled in the National Assembly on September 30th.

LREM parliamentarians will then meet at a seminar in Saint-Denis next Thursday, and their MoDem counterparts in Saclay (Essonne) Friday.
