The government and the cooperation parties have agreed to implement a green tax exchange of SEK 15 billion during the mandate period. This means that environmental taxes are increased and taxes on work and entrepreneurship are reduced equally.

Among other things, the tax on gasoline is increased by 15 öre and when more biofuels are to be mixed into the gasoline, the price is increased by another 10 to 15 öre, which gives a total increase of 25-30 öre.

"Plastic bags without environmental impact"

Martin Kinnunen (SD) does not provide much for the green tax exchange.

- It's a scam. It is plastic bags that we tax without major environmental impact and the chemical tax that benefits companies in other countries, he says in SVT Agenda.

Investment in Swedish biofuel

The government also wants to make major investments in producing Swedish biofuel, which Per Bolund (MP) sees as an important step in reducing Sweden's dependence on oil from, for example, Russia and Saudi Arabia.

- We invest in large biofuel plants in Sweden. It is an opportunity that provides jobs and development throughout the country. The Swedish Democrats want us to continue to import the fuel we need and then give money to regimes that create uncertainty in our environment, he says.

Martin Kinnunen points out that Sweden imports 90 percent of our biofuels.

- Everyone understands that it is not sustainable in the long term.
