In the Swedish shop Totally Swedish in central London, film milk, crispbread, pickled herring and much more are sold. For four years Lovisa Sörenson from Hönö has worked there and she has no plans to move home to Sweden again.

At the same time, Britain is leaving the EU. She says they should have a better control of what happens to her when leaving the EU.

- Every time you put on the TV it is about Brexit, but you never get to know what will actually happen, says Lovisa Sörenson.

"Of course you can't move here"

There are around one hundred thousand Swedes living and working in the UK.

- For the Swedes who live here today, it does not have to be immediately dramatic, you will have to stay if you apply for special permits, says Torbjörn Sohlström, ambassador to the UK.

- But that will mean three things. The first is that there will be new rules that apply to entry for residence in the UK, it will no longer be obvious that you can move here and stay as long as you want.

- The second applies to trade in goods and services, which can be more complicated when customs are imposed.

- The third applies to development for the UK as a whole, and a contractless exit will mean a financial strain on the country according to all assessors, he continues.

In the event of a breach of agreement, Swedish citizens retain the rights they have today and can thus continue to live and work in the UK, provided that they apply for a new residence permit before June 2021.
