One of the attacks occurred at an oil plant in Buqyaq, which is near the city of Dammam on the Persian Gulf. The other occurred on the Khurais oil field. Both oil plants are owned by Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company and is directly crucial to Saudi Arabia's economy.
