Lorient, after the stoppage suffered at home against Guingamp (0-1), went ahead by going to beat Clermont in Auvergne (2-0) and seize the 1st place in the league table 2 Saturday as part of the 7th day.

The Merlus are sure to keep Monday, since the last game of the day between teams from the bottom of the table, Lens-Châteauroux to Bollaert, will indeed not affect the top of the standings.

Under the hot sun of Auvergne, the match started on the hats of wheel.

Lorient opened the score in the third minute thanks to Yoane Wissa. The top Breton striker, superbly thrown into the back of the defense by Hamel, has deceived close goalkeeper Maxime Dupé (1-0, 3rd).

Adrian Grbic had the equalizer at the bottom of the foot in the 9th minute, but the shot from the right six meters from the Austrian center forward Clermont was pushed back by goalkeeper Paul Nardi.

And it was Lorient who widened the gap in the 22nd minute through Sylvain Marveaux: a goal to Arjen Robben offensive midfielder Lorient, who shot a dry shot from the left of the 18 m after pushing his ball left foot along the surface.

Despite the efforts and opportunities of Clermont in the second half, and the exclusion of Lorient Maxime Etuin in the 89th minute for a high foot, the score has not changed.

The Merlus remain undefeated on the outside, where their record is now 3 wins and 1 draw.

Clermont conceded his second consecutive loss. Third after five days, Pascal Gastien's team is only seventh.
