For the fourth year in a row, the Matsvinnköket is arranged outside the Concert Hall in Växjö. This is part of the big food fair in the city.

Last year, a total of about 5 tonnes of food was consumed over two days, food that would otherwise have been thrown out completely unnecessarily. The food is waste products from the shops in Växjö, which for example goods close to the best before the date.

The food is free and this year the kitchen is visited by two famous chefs. TV chef and food writer Alexandra Zazzi and star chef and chef Marie Skogström.
