First Japanese winner in the cello section German International Music Competition September 14th 20:28

Mr. Haruma Sato (21) from Nagoya City won the first Japanese title in the cello section of the German International Music Competition, known as a gateway to young musicians.

The Munich International Music Competition in Germany is a traditional competition that began in 1952 and is known as a gateway to young musicians.

On the 13th, the final of the cello section was held on the 13th, and Haruma Sato from Nagoya City won the championship.

This is the first time Japanese have won the cello division of this competition.

The Munich International Music Competition has different divisions each year, and the cello division was the 15th time and 166 people participated.

Mr. Sato has won numerous awards at various national and international competitions, and is currently studying at the University of the Arts in Berlin, and is planning to hold concerts in Tokyo and Nagoya in December.
