The Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanor Court recently reviewed the case of three young men of Arab nationality accused of assaulting some of them and assaulting a security man, following a fight over a girl in a nightclub.

According to the indictment, the first defendant, drinking alcohol and assaulted the second and third defendants, and assaulted the security man in the nightclub and sprayed him with gas in the face, and the prosecution accused the second and third defendants of assaulting the first defendant.

The first defendant pleaded guilty to drinking alcohol, but denied the charge of beating the second and third defendants or assaulting the security man. The security guard reported that he was assaulted after someone in the quarrel sprayed him with gas.

He stated that the security officer believed that he had sprayed gas in the face, but he did not do so, and denied before the court charge of assaulting the second and third defendants.

The second defendant in court denied that he had beaten the first and third defendants, and that he had first seen the defendants during interrogations and that they had not been beaten, nor had they beat him.

He explained that he went to the nightclub accompanied by his nephews, and that he came down from his vehicle to watch the quarrel that occurred in the nightclub without being a party, which led to his arrest on charges of participating in the quarrel, while the third defendant was absent from the trial session despite his announcement by the competent authorities.

According to the case papers, there was a quarrel between a group of young people because of a girl in a nightclub, which led to the development of the quarrel to mutual assault and beaten the security man in the place and sprayed him with gas in his face, where one of the defendants tried to escape from the scene after the fight He was seized by the competent authorities by identifying his vehicle number, while the rest of the defendants were arrested in the place and referred for investigation and then to the Public Prosecutor, who was charged with mutual assault and drinking alcohol to one of them, before being referred to the Misdemeanors Court, which considered the case decided to seize the verdict on 19 This September .
