Two days after their historic feat against the United States, French basketball players, lack of skill, were eliminated in the semi-finals of the World Cup by falling to Argentina 80 to 66, Friday in Beijing.
The Blues, who had created the surprise to Team USA (89-79) Wednesday, were overwhelmed by the aggressiveness of Albiceleste and his tireless spearhead, Luis Scola (28 points). Third in the 2014 edition, the French will play for the second time the "small final" Sunday against Australia, eliminated earlier by Spain after two extra time (95-88).
