“President Putin answered three calls from President Zelensky. I do not think that he answered so many calls from President Petro Poroshenko. And I believe that this is a good thing, that the president of Ukraine and the president of Russia are talking among themselves, and there is some progress, ”he said.
Along with this, Taylor added that, in his opinion, such a dialogue creates "the potential for good things."
Earlier, the Kremlin reported that on September 7, on the initiative of the Ukrainian side, a telephone conversation took place between Putin and Zelensky, during which a positive assessment was given of the exchange of prisoners between the countries.
