Chamber Prosecutor Pär Andersson has requested the 23-year-old man arrested, suspected of assisting in murder, assisting in attempted murder and assisting in serious weapons crime.

- The detention negotiations will take place this afternoon, he tells SVT News Skåne.

SVT News has sought the man's defender Jesper Montan.

19-year-old was released from detention

Karolin Hakim, 31, was shot dead on August 26 just before 10 o'clock on Sergel's Road in Ribersborg in Malmö. The day after the murder, police announced they had seized a suspected murder weapon.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for assisting with murder three days later, as the suspected getaway vehicle belonged to him. But the man was then released from the detention, including after a writing test showed that the man did not sign the documents for a change of ownership.

"You could immediately see that my client had not contributed to the car being overwritten on him," the man's defender Therese Ståhlnacke told TT.

However, the 19-year-old is still relevant in the murder investigation.

After the open ceremony, an invitation will be held for the relatives. Karolin has quickly moved away from us and left us all in a tremendous absence. You are in our hearts forever, ”writes the family in the obituary.

SVT has been in contact with the family who has given their consent to publish about the funeral information.
