At the social service activities The dialogue in Falun offers support activities to children and young people who experience different kinds of problems. It can be about problems with domestic violence, drugs or separations.

Today, the Dialog has 25 full-year services, but in order to achieve the savings requirement ten services must be removed.

Criticism from the opposition

That proposal now raises criticism from the opposition in Falu Municipality.

- It's called Dialogue because they are easy to get in touch with and it is wise people to talk to when it is busy in life. And this is a bad way to save, says opposition councilor Jonas Lennerthson (S).

Decisions will be made at the end of September

But moderate Anders Lind and center party Daniel Drugge, who are the chairman, and vice-chairman of the social committee respectively, tell SVT Nyheter Dalarna that it cannot be avoided to cut down on the dialogue. The municipal council and center party Joakim Storck currently do not want to comment on the savings proposal.

The savings proposal from the officials is expected to be taken up for decision by the Social Committee at the end of September.
