Lille have prepared their imminent comeback in the Champions League by winning 2-1 against Angers during the 5th day of Ligue 1, Friday at home, and relies temporarily on the leading pack with nine points.

Before returning to European contests Tuesday in Amsterdam against Ajax, the Losc has reassured against long-time shy Angevins, with his offensive arrows and his Nigerian rookie Victor Osimhen, author of his fifth goal, already.

With nine points, the Lille, who remained on a defeat in Reims (2-0), temporarily join Paris, the leader who hosts Saturday Strasbourg, Nice, Rennes and Angers. For his second trip of the season, the SCO drops him a second time, after the defeat 6-0 in Lyon.

The saw-tooth season of the Dogues continues. Unable to bring any point out of its walls, the men of Christophe Galtier are sovereign at home with this third victory in three receptions.

A success that owes a lot, once again, to his four fantastic attack, Osimhen in the lead, who have pierced the Angevin defensive block, which has nevertheless opened a late game to shake Lille with a goal Stéphane Bahoken (87th).

From the beginning of the game, the SCO left the ball to the hosts northerners. After a few minutes without flavor, the first real thrill came from Osimhen with a superb semi-volley out of frame (23rd), on a reinstatement of the head of the French neo-international Jonathan Ikoné.

Few opportunities in this first period but the Northerners finally found the key to the Angevin lock before the break. Luiz Araujo, author of a jewel of juggling to get rid of an Angevin, shifted left Bamba, lonely, whose strike yet little dangerous is badly repulsed by Butelle and taken over by the inevitable Osimhen (39th) on the line .

Angers, who waited for the 41st minute to score, nearly got back to the score early in the second period, but Pierrick Capelle's shot was met by Mike Maignan (46 ').

While in control and in possession, the Losc took the break before the hour of play. After an umpteenth bullet recovery of the indefatigable Benjamin André, Luiz Araujo perfectly crossed his shot of the right to double the score (53).

Released in the wake, Araujo is rewarded by a nice ovation Pierre-Mauroy stadium, which feasted on the class gestures of the Brazilian. Ikoné also received the public tribute, who scored his first goal in the French team against Albania during the international break.

Well inspired against Angers, Lille will Tuesday in the Netherlands put the same offensive ingredients to face the semi-finalists out of the Champions League. And avoid relaxing as they did Friday late in the game on the goal of Stéphane Bahoken.
