Bonn (AP) - The Russian energy group Gazprom allowed on a line across East Germany no longer transport as much gas as before. As the Federal Network Agency announced as the competent regulatory authority, it decided so-called supervisory measures against the operator Opal Gastransport and against Gazprom. So far, Gazprom is allowed to use 80 percent of the line capacity, but has to sell part of it on the market. In the future, the Russians will only use 40 percent, but completely under their own direction. The decision thus transposes a judgment of the EU court.
