CPVS: buses to evacuate people were not allowed into the Rukban camp

This was stated at the Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria.

“Taking into account the lack of opportunity for the population of the camp to leave its territory without coordination with the command of the IAF, we regard this statement as yet another evidence of the militants' intention to save refugees in Er-Rukban as a human shield,” the head of the center’s major general said in a statement Alexey Bakin.

The CPVS again called on the US command in the "Et-Tanf" zone to influence and facilitate the evacuation of refugees by UN agencies.

Earlier, the Central Command and Control Center announced plans for refugees to leave Rukban in September.

They noted that "thousands of women, children, the elderly expressed a desire to leave the camp."
