Hassa bint Salmane had asked her "close protection" officer to threaten, beat and humiliate a plumber, whom she blamed for stolen photos.

The sister of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was sentenced Thursday in Paris to ten months suspended sentence and 10,000 euros fine for violence inflicted by his staff to a craftsman in a royal residence in the capital in 2016.

Targeted by arrest warrant

Hassa bint Salmane, 42, who has been absent and has been the subject of an arrest warrant since December 2017, was tried in early July at the Paris Criminal Court for asking her "close protection" officer to threaten, beat and humiliate a plumber to whom the princess reproached stolen photos.
