US Senate Committee Approves Assistance to Ukrainian Armed Forces
The US Senate Committee on Expenditures approved the allocation of $ 250 million to Ukraine to support the country's armed forces.
According to the report of the committee, financing of Ukraine for "promoting security" of the country and extension of funding for two years is approved.
The committee also recommends allocating $ 400 million to the Baltic countries for air defense.
Earlier, a group of US senators from both parties sent a letter to the director of the White House Administrative and Budgetary Administration, Mick Mulvaney, calling for him to keep providing military assistance to Ukraine.
