The Thursday sky will be covered north of the Loire, with a few drops.

The weather will be contrasted Thursday with a return of the sun in the south and a more overcast sky over the rest of the country, according to the bulletin of Météo-France published Wednesday.

The sky will be clear south of an axis from Nantes to Orleans extending to Belfort. The few patches of low clouds present at sunrise over the south of Aquitaine will dissipate quickly.

Further north, from the Pays de la Loire to Brittany, from Normandy to the Hauts-de-France, from Île-de-France to the Grand-Est, the day will begin under a cloudy sky, with some drizzle, to the Ardennes in particular. Thunderstorms will become larger and wider during the day, before the sky covers again in the late afternoon along the Channel coast.

In the morning, temperatures will be 3 to 5 degrees in the center of the country, 8 to 12 degrees in a good quarter southwest, and 12 to 15 elsewhere. In the afternoon, it will be 19 to 21 degrees along the coast of the English Channel, 21 to 24 in the northern third of the country, and 26 to 30 more in the south.
