The authorities of the LPR decided to transfer to Kiev more than 50 prisoners
The authorities of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic decided to transfer to Kiev 54 people who were convicted before the conflict in Donbass.
It is reported by the Lugansk Information Center.
“The process of transferring convicts takes place in the area of the bridge on the contact line near the settlement of Happiness,” the message says.
As Luganskinform points out, the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, previously stated that the republic was ready to continue transferring such prisoners to the Ukrainian side, provided Kiev confirmed its readiness to carry out this process.
In July, the LPR authorities already transferred 64 prisoners to Kiev.
