Stefan Siesing, external commander of the Uppsala police, was at the Stora Torget during the night until Thursday when a 20-year-old woman came to him.

- She told me that a man had taken her friend and another woman on the butt, says Stefan Siesing.

While they were talking, the girlfriend left and the suspected man followed with two friends.

- It makes her worried and I hurry to catch him. I thought it was extra important as we have had several cases of sexual harassment in central Uppsala. There is the possibility that the man can be linked to this and several other cases if he is guilty, says Stefan Siesling.

While Stefan Siesling was talking to the man, the women had to leave the scene - before the police noticed their name.

What happens if you do not get in touch with the women?

- There will be nothing. We will probably have to close the case if we do not have any witnesses or witnesses, says Stefan Siesling.

The suspected man was taken into custody because of intoxication.

- So we have his ID and know where he lives, but it doesn't help if we don't get in touch with the women.
