The woman was found dead on March 5 in a home north of Gävle, after troubled relatives heard from the police. According to the indictment, she must have been murdered in her apartment by being beaten several times with an ax in the head and torso.

In April, two men were arrested - an 18-year-old suspected of murder, and a 27-year-old for protection of criminal, serious crime.

According to the prosecution, the 27-year-old, together with the suspected murderer, must have removed evidence. Among other things, they must have fired at the ax used to kill the woman and taken, among other things, her her ashtray and a cellphone from the crime scene.

So now the trial of the two men begins.

Admits partially

In the past, the men have denied the crime, but the prosecution states that the 18-year-old in question has admitted murder. The 27-year-old man admits violations of the normal degree.

The evidence against the two suspects has previously been described as strong by the prosecutor. Among other things, there are recorded telephone conversations where the suspected killer should have told about what he should have done to the woman.

He said in another conversation that was also recorded that he knew he had done wrong but that he had to forget and move on and that "just because he did it once it is not certain he will do it more times".
