Athens (AP) - The influx of refugees from Turkey to Greece continues. Within 24 hours 427 migrants reached the islands of Rhodes, Lesbos and Samos in the east of the Aegean Sea and thus the EU, as the Greek Coast Guard announced. The registries in Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Leros and Kos, which have a total of around 6,300 people, are already home to more than 20,000 people. Another 4,000 people are housed in smaller warehouses and apartments. Yesterday, the head of the much-criticized Moria registration desk on Lesbos, Giannis Balbakakis, resigned.
