In Ufa, opened a case due to mass poisoning with shawarma
Investigators opened a criminal case into the poisoning of 15 people with shawarma in Ufa.
This is stated on the website of the department.
“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health of consumers”), ”the statement says.
It is clarified that among the victims with signs of food poisoning, five children aged five to nine years.
According to the investigation, on September 11, 2019, people who were in the hospital purchased shawarma in a kiosk at the stop pavilion in the Sipailovo microdistrict.
Earlier in Yakutsk 36 people were poisoned by food from restaurants.
In June, URA.RU reported that in the Urals, they began checking on the mass poisoning of 60 sports school students and coaches after dinner on the train.
