Berlin (AFP) Economic experts as well as the German banks and savings banks have sharply criticized the monetary policy decisions of the European Central Bank (ECB). The ZEW financial expert Friedrich Heinemann said on Thursday that the agreed package went "far beyond what can be justified". It is deplorable that the critics of further bond purchases in the Governing Council could not have prevailed against President Mario Draghi and his environment.
