Frankfurt / Main (AP) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel has spoken out in favor of a rapid expansion of the infrastructure at the opening of the International Motor Show IAA. The change in mobility is a "Herculean task" for state and industry alike, in which close cooperation is required, she said in Frankfurt. The reliability of the charging infrastructure is of the utmost importance for the success of electromobility. 20000 charging points are far from sufficient.
