It was at nine o'clock on Thursday morning that the alarm about a clamping accident came in to SOS Alarm. The man, who is in his 80s, worked on his farm and would work with the backhoe when something went wrong.
- He would do something with this vehicle and at some point something goes wrong, and he gets pinched by the implement. He died on the spot. It is a tragic accident, says Johan Raske, on-duty investigative leader in Fyrbodal.
Emergency services and ambulance were alerted to the scene, later also the police.
There is no suspicion of crime.
