In a press release, the Sweden Democrats strongly criticize the police. It is partly because patrols did not come quickly to the site despite the stone throwing "which could have caused extensive bodily injury", and partly that the stone throwing persons at the site were not apprehended.

- It was among the most frustrating and abusive I've been through. The police were on the spot, but chose not to arrest the few perpetrators, says group leader Simon Alm (SD).

- There are different perceptions of what has happened, says Lisa Sannervik.

Three hours of stone throwing at campaign employees, which the police do not recognize, she says.

To secure the gathering

Lisa Sannervik explains that the task of the police is to ensure that the gathering could be conducted in a safe and secure manner.

But SD writes that the stones and objects thrown could have led to "fatal outcome". It sounds serious.

- When we got out, there was no one left in the place who threw stones, and we made the assessment that we did not have to stay.

SD now wants to have a meeting with the police.

- You are very welcome to contact us directly and record the views you have on the effort.

Has the party contacted the police?

- Not that I know of. But we are happy to have a dialogue with SD if there are questions that you want to raise.
