One of the women who accuses Tariq Ramadan of rape has filed a summons to ban the publication of the book of the Swiss Islamologist on Wednesday, in which he reveals the identity of the plaintiff.

Justice authorized Wednesday's release of a book by Swiss Islamologist Tariq Ramadan, against the will of one of the women who accuses him of rape and who denounced the mention of his real name in the book, learned Tuesday AFP from concordant sources.

In its decision, the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris considered that the identity of this complainant had already been made public previously and that its request "would unreasonably and disproportionately affect the freedom of expression" of Tariq Ramadan, according to the judgment of which AFP has knowledge. He admits, however, that this woman has been harmed by the spread of her name without her consent and condemns the Muslim intellectual to pay him a symbolic euro.
