01 August 2017 "Sara refused to recognize the role of master of her life in Paduano". This is what we read in the more than 70 pages of motivation of the sentence with which the gup Gaspare Sturzo sentenced Vincenzo Paduano to life imprisonment for the murder of ex-girlfriend Sara Di Pietrantonio, the student killed and set on fire on May 29th of last year year in via della Magliana in Rome. "The elements of Sara's refusal to still suffer from Paduano's presence in her life and, therefore, the consequent loss of the dominion exercised by him up until then - he writes - are the motive and at the same time represent an indication of the contempt of the fact what an abject reason ".

"It is objectively ascertained - writes the judge - a continuous series of persecutory acts that then take a punitive address with a homicidal project as Sara refused to recognize the role of master of her life in Paduano; thus having built a series of lies for Sara and, later, having carried out the nocturnal ambush by means of a wanted road collision, the subtraction of the cell phone from Sara and probably the car keys, the spraying of the girl's car with flammable liquid prepared for this deadly aggression ; having wet Sara of the same liquid; burning the car of the girl; chasing, physical aggression; suffocation; dragging the corpse in the middle of a bed of leaves and the destruction of part of the body - the judge writes again - they must make the crimes committed very serious ". For the judge "as to the intensity of the fraud, the premeditation was assessed as subsistent on the basis of the objective elements indicated above, and keeping the Paduano's wickedness separate for the abject reasons for which he acted in relation to his alleged dominion over Sara, one does not he can deny that the malice of Paduano was of the maximum power, manifesting aspects of real cruelty towards Sara ".

Finally, "in relation to the conduct subsequent to the crime, it must be emphasized - as stated in the motivations - as the Paduano did not show up at all upset before a colleague of the crime committed. In fact, with these shortly after the murder he drank a coffee and smoked a cigarette without anything at all ".
