“Pulp Fiction”: the Kremlin reacted to media reports about the US informant
The Kremlin commented on CNN and other American media reports about a possible US intelligence agency “evacuated” from Russia. Oleg Smolenkov, who is supposedly mentioned in these materials, really worked in the presidential administration, but was fired several years ago, said spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov. He also emphasized that Smolenkov did not belong to the category of senior officials, and called all the rumors about the "emergency removal" of the official "pulp fiction."
