Von der Leyen: I want flexible and agile commission
"Today I present a well-balanced team that brings together competence and experience, I want a committee that works with determination and offers answers". This was stated by the elected president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. "I want a committee that is flexible, modern and agile," he added. "I would like to thank Juncker for his support over the past few weeks, he very kindly provided his team and his press room today. I have known him since I entered politics and I learned a lot from him and it is an honor to succeed him ", says Ursula von der Leyen.

Timmermans vice president for the 'Green Deal', Vestager for digital
The Dutch socialist Frans Timmermans "will be executive vice president for the European Green Deal, which must be the European trademark", announces the elected president of the European Commission. Danish liberal Margrethe Vestager will be executive digital vice president. Vestager will also be Commissioner for Competition. With Valdis Dombrovskis they will be the executive vice-presidents.

Commissioners will have to go to the Member States
"All commissioners will have to go to the member states in the first part of their mandate," said Ursula von der Leyen.
