Dutch employers have more difficulty finding the right candidates for their vacancies, broadcaster Manpower reports Tuesday after a survey of 59,000 employers, 750 of which in the Netherlands.

The proportion of Dutch employers struggling to find suitable people for vacancies has risen from 68 percent to 72 percent.

In the financial sector in particular, companies are finding that it is increasingly difficult to fill vacant positions. There, the percentage rose from 61 percent to 70 percent, the researchers said.

"In addition to growing macroeconomic concerns, the Dutch labor market remains unprecedentedly tight. The ability to attract and retain the right talent has become a crucial success factor for organizations around the world," said Jeroen Zwinkels, managing director of Manpower Netherlands. .
