Dubai police have arrested an Asian man who stabbed his wife with a knife for suspicion of treason and involvement in an illegal relationship with another person, according to a security source who told Emirates Today that the defendant lured his wife outside her workplace and then stabbed her in stabbed car parks. He escaped, and the defendant admitted in the investigation to the murder of his wife, because he suspected her behavior.
The source said that a report was received yesterday morning, to the management of the command and control center in the General Directorate of Operations in Dubai Police, about the exposure of a woman with Asian features of fatal stabbing, in the positions of a building in the area of Al Quoz, pointing out that a team of criminal investigation, of the General Directorate of Investigations and Police Station In which the crime occurred within its jurisdiction, in addition to the crime scene team, forensic experts and forensic evidence, undertook research and investigation to uncover the crime.
He added that the team identified the victim, through the testimony of witnesses, an Asian called (VT - 39 years), and then continued the search and investigation until he reached the accused who carried out his crime, and then fled, but was arrested by detectives, He was taken to the General Directorate of Investigations, where he confessed to his crime.
During his interrogation by the task force, the accused, in his fourth decade, stated that he had brought his wife from his country, and then discovered that she had an illegal relationship with another person.He decided to take revenge on her, went to her workplace, summoned her to positions, and brawled between them. Afterwards, he was hiding a knife, then stabbed and killed him, and is due to be referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution for murder.
