The collective Inter-Emergency, meeting this Tuesday, September 10 in general assembly, voted the continuation of the strike movement started almost six months ago. The " refoundation " plan announced the day before by the Minister of Health was deemed insufficient. The representatives of the strikers took the principle of " local rallies " on 26 September, pending the establishment of a " national mobilization date " in the near future.
From the first words, the audience is quickly fixed on the general state of mind of the strikers. " We do not need SAS, " could be heard in the room, to reject from the outset the flagship measure of the plan of the Minister of Health. Or again: " The Buzyn plan is flan. "
In summary, the 12 measures announced on Monday 9 September and the 750 million euros put on the table to reorganize hospital emergencies, have not soothed the anger of health care staff.
After a show of hands, the Inter-Emergency group upheld a motion that reaffirmed the 3 main demands of emergency physicians: that is, recruiting staff to meet the needs of services, reopening beds downstream, and increasing salary of 300 euros net monthly.
The continuation of the emergency workers movement was therefore voted at the end of this general assembly. The Inter-Urgence collective also invites paramedics to participate in the days of action led by all the unions.
