Belarus has limited the import of cattle from the Tyumen region

The Belarusian side imposed temporary restrictions on the import of cattle from the Tyumen region of Russia and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China in connection with the recorded cases of infectious nodular dermatitis.

This is stated in the message of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

The agency said that animal cases in these regions were reported by the International Epizootic Bureau.

“In connection with this, on September 10, temporary restrictions were imposed on the import into Belarus from these regions of cattle, wild, zoo and circus large ruminant artiodactyls, as well as their meat,” RIA Novosti quotes the department.

Earlier, Belarus limited the import of pork from the Kursk and Amur regions.
