Crying and walking with difficulty, Argentine football legend Diego Maradona attended the event of introducing a new coach to Argentine club Gimnasia La Plata.

Around 24,000 fans welcomed the former captain of Argentina and the winner of the tango title in 1986, when presented on Sunday to the media and the public.

Maradona, who has suffered years of health problems, left Dorados de Sinaloa in Mexico's second division for health reasons last June.
