But her assignment also includes gaining knowledge and research on artificial intelligence in various university programs.

Today, there are several ongoing research projects in Örebro that extend beyond the university's own lab environments.

Among other things, an apartment where research is conducted on the interaction between man and artificial intelligence in care and care. A student apartment has also been used as a test environment for AI.

Grows vigorously

The university's principal, Johan Schnürer, wants to see that the knowledge in the area is quickly spread and is being used by more people - both at and outside the university, so that the institution and the country will not fall behind.

- The AI ​​area is one of Örebro University's strongest research areas and it is growing very strongly, he says.

Strengthened collaborations

Already today, the university cooperates with external players. But with the Vice President's expertise in the area and new assignments, he hopes it will be further strengthened.

- Amy Loutfi is uniquely suited for it with her expertise and with the networks and contexts she is in, says Johan Schnürer.

- This means that I can focus on the strategic development of the AI ​​area. Both by working within universities and by representing our university against external collaboration partners, says Amy Loutfi.
