This was reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea with reference to a statement by the DPRK Foreign Ministry.

“We are ready to meet with the United States at an agreed time at the end of September and in an agreed place to discuss issues that we have discussed so far,” TASS quoted the statement as saying.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced his intention to continue negotiations with North Korea.

In August, U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France announced that he could meet again with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to discuss Pyongyang's nuclear program.
