The arrival of autumn, ie the daily average temperature is below 10 degrees, has been delayed in many parts of the country. So far, the meteorological fall has only come to northern Norrland's inland and mountainous regions. But this weekend a low pressure will pull in over the country, which will cause the autumn to spread.

- On Saturday, a low pressure comes in from the west and after that cooler air flows in. Next week we will have more normal temperatures for September, says Deana Bajic.

Unusually hot during the week

So far, temperatures have been above normal in many places in September, and it looks set to continue into the beginning of the week. According to Deana Bajic, the temperature will be around 10-15 degrees in many places.

- During Tuesday and Wednesday, it can even be over 20 degrees in the south and around 18 degrees along the northern coast. It doesn't usually get that hot in September.

But despite the heat, the weather will be unstable. A low pressure that pulls in during the night to Tuesday will bring blown and large amounts of rain over southern Götaland.

- It will be hot, but windy, large rainfall and risk of thunder in some places, says Deana Bajic.

Remains of Hurricane Dorian

On Wednesday, the remains of the former Hurricane Dorian will sweep across the country with fresh wind and rain, so despite the heat, the weather continues to be unstable the week out. And this weekend temperatures will drop, 10-15 degrees in large parts of the country and colder in the mountains according to Deana Bajic.

- Next week we will really feel that autumn is here, it will be cooler in the whole country.
