The National Police arrested on Wednesday, September 4, a 28-year-old man accused of trying to kidnap an 11-year-old girl in a park located in the Plaza Mayor Juan de Vergara, in the heart of Getafe. The arrested person lacks a police record and has already been sent to prison by the judge.

The events occurred in the afternoon. The man approached the girl and tried to grab her. The little girl shouted and asked for help. Several people heard her and notified the police. The agents arrived immediately and located the man thanks to the physical characteristics given by the witnesses.

The police arrested him and transferred him to the Getafe police station. For now, the agents ignore the intentions of the arrested person who is accused of an alleged crime of attempted abduction of a minor.
