The drama at the Hammer smith is part of a new venture called the Industrial Heritage Round, which shows old East Gothic industrial memories with the help of theater. During the weekend there were also plays at the Motala workshop and the copper mines in Bersbo outside Åtvidaberg.

- The point is to get a sense of what it was like to live in this environment 300 years ago and at the same time highlight the women, because they are rarely rewritten, says Ann-Louise Persson Hall, who both acts and has written the script for drama in Hävla.

Part of the Östgöta days

The purpose of the Östgöta Days itself is to showcase what the East Gothic countryside has to offer. According to the organizers, the event attracts around 100,000 visitors each year and this year it is the 19th edition.
