September 08, 2019It is "difficult to follow the Lord when one wants to identify the Kingdom of Heaven with one's personal interests or with the charm of some ideology that ends up exploiting the name of God or religion to justify acts of violence, segregation and even murder, exile, terrorism and marginalization ". Thus Pope Francis in the homily of the Mass celebrated at the diocesan camp of Antananarivo, in Madagascar.

"The need of the Master encourages us not to manipulate the Gospel with sad reductionisms, but rather to build history in fraternity and solidarity, with free respect for the earth and its gifts against any form of exploitation; with the audacity to live the ' dialogue as a way, common collaboration as conduct, mutual knowledge as a method and criterion ", adds the pontiff.

Then: "Let's look around: how many men and women, young people, children suffer and are totally devoid of everything! This is not part of God's plan", says Francis in the homily of the Mass in the esplanade of the Diocesan Camp of Soamandrakizay.
