KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, who is visiting the United States, has been admitted to a US hospital for medical tests and his meeting with US President Donald Trump has been postponed, Kuwait said on Sunday.
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Ali Al-Sabah as saying that the Emir of Kuwait has entered a hospital in the United States to complete medical examinations. .
The emir arrived in the United States earlier this month on a "private visit," according to KUNA, and then traveled to Washington, DC, in preparation for a meeting scheduled for Thursday with Trump.
On August 18, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), citing the Emiri Diwan, announced that the Emir had "recovered" from a health conditioner "suffered by His Highness after conducting the usual medical examinations, the results of which were cured by God's success."
