The Supreme Council of State in Libya accused the UAE of involvement in fueling the war in the country, by allowing a press conference for the official spokesman of Hifter in the capital Abu Dhabi.

The Presidential Council of the Libyan Government of National Accord also denounced the UAE's permission for Hifter's spokesman Ahmed al-Mesmari to hold a press conference in the UAE capital.

He said that this position indicates that the UAE has allowed its capital to be a media platform for the militias attacking Tripoli.

The statement stressed that this behavior, which he described as condemned in flagrant violation of the Security Council resolution, and support for the aggressor, and a signal to continue to commit war crimes.

The council said it expected the countries that support Haftar to review their positions and work to inject blood and take positions that maintain the stability of Libya.

The Council affirmed that it continued to defeat Hifter, who described him as the aggressor, and held those who supported him to hold legal responsibility.

The spokesman for the forces of Hifter Brigadier Ahmed al-Mesmari held a press conference in Abu Dhabi, where he talked about the developments of the attack on the Libyan capital Tripoli, and said that his forces decided to go to Tripoli to root out what he called terrorists.

Al-Mesmari added that Hifter's forces have a roadmap beyond Tripoli's control, which is to hold a national dialogue and come up with a constitutional document.

Dead in clashes
Meanwhile, eight members of the retired Major General Khalifa Hifter and six members of the Wefaq government were killed in clashes south of the capital Tripoli.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in Libya reported that the clashes resulted in the advancement of Al-Wefaq forces in the axes of Al-Khalah, Ain Zara and Al-Sabaia.

The forces of the government of the Libyan Accord announced yesterday that its warplanes carried out - Saturday - seven sorties, targeted the launching bases of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter, which he uses to bomb civilians in the capital Tripoli and its suburbs.
