The import of American goods decreased by 22% on an annual basis, to 10.3 billion dollars, after the increases in Chinese duties and the injunction to companies to cancel orders. In turn, Chinese exports to the States decreased by 16%, falling to 44.4 billion dollars, due to the duties imposed on Chinese goods imposed by the Trump administration.
